Christchurch

Mike Catton

Age: 37
Qualifications: BEng (Hons) in Aeronautical Engineering.  NLP Master Practitioner and Instructor. Ericksonian Hypnotherapist.
Experience: Qualified as a Chartered Engineer responsible for teams of 120+ personnel and airworthiness of 36 aircraft.  Skills and Personal Development Officer at the University of Surrey using Accelerated Learning NLP techniques to improve student performance.    In a training capacity he has delivered training in many contexts including International Conferences in the US, professional sports teams here in New Zealand, Government agencies in the UK as well as on an individual basis.

Current role: He has a great interest in NLP, both for coaching and training, hence the establishment of this website.  As a trainer he loves to learn and then teach others and NLP has been the most powerful tool he’s found to do that.  He is currently researching and developing new and improved ways of using NLP within his speciality of “productivity and performance”.   Mike presents key note presentations on these topics.
Family: Happily married to Kathy and they have a 2 young boys.

Steve Gurney

Age: 44
Qualifications: BE (Mech). NLP Master Practitioner and Instructor.
Awards: MNZM. 2 x Canterbury sportsperson of the year.
Experience: Adventure Racing. 18 years competing and very often winning international Adventure Races (Raid Gauloises, Eco-Challenge, Southern Traverse).
Relevent sporting achievements: 9 wins in the Coast to Coast, 3 wins in the Raid Gauloises, 1st in the Subaru Primal Quest 2002, NZ Mountain Bike Team to the World Champs 1990-94 and many Southern Traverse winner.  Not just peak performance, but over and over and over again!
Current job role: Adventure Race Course Designer, professional speaker.

Stephanie Mainprize

Age: 33
Qualifications: Bachelor of Arts Degree, Majoring in Political Science and Sociology, Certified NLP Master Practitioner; Time Line Therapy™, Ericksonian Hypnotherapy.
Experience: Nine years experience helping people move into independence.
Current role: I have a business that does contract work for the Ministry of Social Development assisting people into sustainable employment.

Queenstown

Amanda Mortimer

Age: 42
Qualifications: Certified NLP master practitioner; Time Line Therapy™, Ericksonian Hypnotherapy, Dip Life Coaching, Certified Instructor of Transforming Communication. Member NZANLP, ICF, Aprocep and INLPTA.  International Accredited Coach with the International Coaching Institute. Currently completing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Clinical Hypnotherapy.
Experience: Amanda has worked in the corporate world for 14 years, working with the Estée Lauder group, starting her career on the counter and working her way up to the Training Manager for the North of England Scotland and Ireland for Estée Lauder. She was then promoted to Clinique as the Director of Education for Europe the Middle East and Africa and was based in London. Amanda has also run a successful advertising agency in Leeds with her husband Keith.
Awards: Voted the ‘Most Influential Trainer in Europe 1998’ by Kappe Schippol in Holland.
Family: Happily married to husband Keith for 9 years.
Current Role: Owner of ‘Your LIfe LIve it’ a successful Coaching and Training company based in New Zealand, Portugal and the U.K.

Tracey Neil

Age: 38
Qualifications: Certified NLP practitioner; Time Line Therapy™, Ericksonian Hypnotherapy, Hypnotherapist (intern), SleepTalk™ Practitioner (Intern), BCA (Hons). Member NZANLP.
Experience: Tracey’s background has been in IT Project Management, Lecturer in Information Systems at Victoria University, consultant and director for Brand Communications Ltd (Deloitte Fast 50 company), and is currently a director and General Manager for Iconic Adventures and director of Brand Com Projects and Management. Tracey is a certified NLP Practitioner and is currently finishing off her research papers for her Diploma in Advanced Hypnotherapy.
Personal Statement: “When I met Amanda several years ago, I was in awe of her passion and love of life. It was Amanda who stimulated my interest and curiosity about NLP. Using both NLP and Hypnotherapy creates a toolbox to assist my clients in achieving what they want easily and quickly.
